Being Unapologetically You

Being Unapologetically You

In a world where business success often seems to require fitting into a mold, many women entrepreneurs find themselves struggling to maintain their authenticity. You’ve probably experienced it: the constant pressure to conform to industry norms, the fear of judgment, and the overwhelming sensation of losing your voice in pursuit of what others deem as successful. But what if there is another way? What if the secret to sustainable success lies not in fitting in, but in being unapologetically you?

This blog post is designed to help you reclaim your authentic self, align your business with your unique values, and ultimately achieve fulfillment both personally and professionally. By embracing your true self, you’ll not only enhance your business but also find joy and contentment along the way.

The Internal Battle of Authenticity

Too often, women entrepreneurs face the dilemma of choosing between authenticity and success. This internal conflict can manifest in various ways:

– Burnout: Constantly pushing yourself to meet external expectations can leave you feeling drained and exhausted.

– Overwhelm: Juggling the pressures of business while trying to stay true to your values can create a sense of chaos.

– Self-Doubt: You may find yourself questioning your worth or capabilities, feeling inadequate compared to peers who seem to have it all figured out.

The Cost of Losing Your Authentic Self

When you stray from your authentic self, the repercussions can be damaging:

– Stagnation: Your business may plateau, and you could lose the passion that initially drove you.

– Confusion: Without a clear vision aligned with your values, decision-making becomes increasingly challenging.

– Disconnection: You might feel isolated, as if you’re going through the motions without truly engaging with your work or audience.

These consequences can lead to a cycle of frustration and depletion, inhibiting your ability to create a thriving, vibrant business. If you feel stuck in this cycle, it’s crucial to acknowledge the disconnect and take steps towards reclaiming your authentic voice.

Reclaiming Your Authenticity

So, how do you begin this transformative journey towards authenticity? Here are several practical steps:

1. Reflect on Your Core Values

  – Identify Your Values: Take time to write down your foundational beliefs. What principles guide your life and business?

  – Assess Alignment: Honestly evaluate if your current business practices reflect these values. If not, outline where changes can be made.

2. Understand Your Unique Design

Leveraging your human design is a powerful way to embrace who you truly are.

– Discover Your Design: Research your specific human design blueprint. Understand your energy type, authority, and profile.

– Apply to Business: Use insights from your design to inform how you operate in your business. For instance, if you are a Manifestor, recognize that initiating and leading projects comes naturally to you.

– Write Down Your Goals: Make sure they are specific, measurable, and aligned with your values.

– Review Regularly: Reassess your goals periodically and adjust as necessary to stay true to your authentic self.

5. Cultivate Mindfulness

Incorporate mindfulness practices to remain grounded amidst the hustle.

– Meditation: Dedicate time each day to meditate and connect with your inner self.

– Journaling: Write down your thoughts and feelings regularly to explore your journey and cultivate self-awareness.

Begin to implement changes in your business that reflect your authentic self.

– Small Changes: Start with small steps. For example, adjust your marketing materials to better echo your voice and values.

– Be Bold: As you gain confidence, take bolder actions that align with your true self.

The Power of Authenticity in Business

Embracing your authentic self can lead to transformative changes in your business. Here’s how:

Opening Your Heart to What You Desire

Every cell in your body is alive with energy

.t’s not just a biological process; it’s a transmission. Each cell sends and receives electromagnetic signals into what some call the quantum field, others the universe, or simply the field of all possibilities. Call it whatever feels true to you. What matters is knowing: you’re in constant conversation with it.

This is important, especially if you’re ready to create something new.

Among all the parts of the body, two stand out as the most powerful transmitters of energy: the brain and the heart. And of the two, it’s the heart that speaks loudest.

Research from the HeartMath Institute shows:

  • The heart’s electrical signal is around 60 times stronger than the brain’s.
  • Its magnetic field is more than 100 times stronger and can be measured several feet away.
  • The heart’s rhythm changes with your emotions, love, gratitude, and compassion, creating smooth, harmonious waves. Stress or frustration creates jagged, chaotic patterns.
  • And here’s what’s even more fascinating: your heart’s energy doesn’t stay with you. It reaches others. Often, without them realizing it.

That means this: the more you can feel, truly feel, what it would be like to have what you desire, the faster it begins to form around you.

Now imagine if that feeling didn’t just live in your heart.
But moved through your entire body.
Every breath, every movement, every cell resonating with the signal of “I already am.”
Is that how instant manifestation works? Perhaps. But we begin here.

Start by feeling love. Not because it’s a shortcut to what you want, but because love in your heart makes the waiting softer. It lifts your frequency now. And whether your desire takes a moment or a while to arrive, you will already feel better.

How to Have Emotional Freedom the Uncomfortable Way

We’re often told that fear is something to conquer or push through. But what if fear isn’t the enemy at all? What if fear is the doorway?

Fear shows us exactly where our growth is waiting. When my heart pounds before I share something vulnerable, it isn’t a sign that I should stop. It’s a sign that I’m stepping closer to freedom.

I can’t count the number of times I held back from sharing an idea, a story, or an offer. Each time I did, I felt safe for a moment — but the price was invisibility.

In business, that meant clients who never got to hear from me. In life, it meant carrying the weight of self-censorship. Hiding felt protective, but in reality, it was the very thing keeping me from the connections and opportunities I longed for.

A Small Ritual to Begin

Here’s what helped me take my first steps into visibility: I began with a tiny ritual. Before doing something that felt scary, I would pause, close my eyes, and place my hand on my heart. I stayed with the feeling, accepted what I felt, breathed through it until it lost its grip.

This simple act calmed my nervous system and reminded me that fear was part of the process, not a stop sign.

Fear is not a signal that you’re weak or unprepared. It’s proof that you are in growth mode. If you are only doing what’s easy, you are staying where you are. Fear shows you that you are on the right path. Maybe not to what you thought was right. But to learn from fear makes you wiser, no matter what.

Instead of wanting to never be afraid again, do the opposite. Look for it, accept it and be with the feeling. It will tach you something about yourself every single time. Sometimes it’s news to you and sometimes it’s the same thing that you have felt many times, but it comes in a different shade.

Welcome all of it, the more you do that the easer your life will become, because for every heavy emotion you let go of, the lighter you will become.

Your Turn
What is one thing you’ve hidden about yourself because you were afraid of what others would think?

Feel it, accept it and allow it to be and take your next step to emotional freedom.

Mindset Work Will Not Rewire Limiting Beliefs

Oh my gosh, trying is a word that we should stop using. In it, there is a hidden meaning that it’s ok to quit.

Why not DECIDE to go for what you want? You can never have everything figured out anyway. You have to take steps and trust yourself to find a way.

We look for the solution to our setbacks and problems outside of ourselves. I was reading through a Facebook thread yesterday. The question was, what is one thing you would like to have support with right now?

Someone is telling me what to focus on

Having clients come to me.

There are tons of business coaches out there who could give you answers to this. But will it be the right answer for you?

I’ve been in the coaching space since 2001 and seen a lot. I was also looking for what kind of marketing I should do, what strategies, what to say …

But none of that made a big difference for me until I changed myself.

I’ve been a part of different mentorship programs, some better than others. And my conclusion is that none of them focus on what moves the needle.

Changing the beliefs, the inherited patterns that run our lives.

Changing the mindset and the thoughts is a good start, but it only scratches the surface. To create lasting change, we need to go deeper.

Whenever you have an uncomfortable sensation in your body, you are close to a breakthrough. But it doesn’t feel that way.

That’s why I work with the Expansion Method combined with coaching with my clients. To uncover the hidden beliefs that are running your life, creating self-sabotage without you even being aware of it.

Dare to make a DECISION and go for what you want. Don’t expect it to be effortless. But I promise you, if you go all in, it will be an exciting journey.

Why Some People Seem So Lucky in Business Part 2

Your business is a reflection of you.
And not just your business — your whole life mirrors your inner world.

If something feels stuck or off — whether it’s in your business, relationships, or health — and you only try to fix it on the outside, it’s like putting lipstick on the mirror instead of your own lips.

We all carry limiting beliefs. It’s part of being human.
But they can be hard to identify, because they live beneath the surface — in the subconscious.
Buried as learned behaviors… old stories… ideas we once absorbed and turned into “truths” about who we are.

If you have a beautiful way of supporting people, but you’re not calling in enough clients — even though you’re taking action — it’s often a belief below the surface that’s creating that result.

Because it lives in the subconscious, it’s not always obvious.
You see the symptoms — the empty bookings, the hesitation, the rollercoaster energy.
You feel the frustration, the fear, the doubt.

When that happens, start within.
Your reactions are signposts pointing toward the belief that’s quietly limiting you.

Don’t push away the feeling. And don’t mistake it as the truth of who you are.
Instead… listen.
Let the emotion speak — and become curious about what it’s trying to show you.

If you feel frustrated, sit with that.
Ask yourself gently:
Why is this making me so frustrated? What story got triggered here?

Maybe you catch a thought like:
“Why don’t they get it?”

There’s a belief right there.
A part of you believes that others don’t understand you — or worse, that they can’t.

And now you have something powerful. You have awareness.
You can thank the feeling for showing you what needs your attention.

Then, choose a new belief — one that feels lighter, truer, and more empowering:

I am someone people understand with ease.
I attract those who are drawn to me — because they sense there’s something valuable here.

Look for proof.
Remind yourself of the people who have truly seen you, who have been excited to be in your presence, to work with you, to learn from you.

Can you hold that both experiences are true? That you’ve been misunderstood… and deeply understood?
The mind tends to focus on the painful version — and that’s not wrong. The discomfort is there to guide you toward healing.

Let yourself feel what it’s like to be seen, heard, and valued.
Enjoy that feeling. Nourish it.
Because the more you connect with it inside — the more you’ll begin to live and speak from that place.
And when that happens… others can’t help but feel it too.
